Arizona Court Records

The Arizona Courts website aims to help the public to understand and navigate the judicial system within Arizona. It reveals information about the state’s courts, their functions, and their jurisdiction within the system. It also reveals the court hierarchy, from low-level trial courts to the Arizona Supreme Court, the state’s highest appellate court.

The trial court comprises the Superior Courts, which are courts of general jurisdiction, and specialized courts, such as the Justice Courts, Municipal Courts, and City Courts. In contrast, the appellate court system consists of the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

Per the Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123, Arizona courts grant public access to various court records, including court proceedings, initiating documents, and decrees. The state law also allows the public to view and copy records in the custody of government agencies, except those statutorily exempt. This website offers general information to assist the public with accessing Arizona Public Records, where possible. However, it has no official affiliations and does not proffer legal advice.
